This isn’t my dog, but she was so adorable I just had to snap some pictures. I think she’s a wire-hair dachshund and chihuahua mix. See, mutts can be cute too!
Tug of war is a big, big hit with this little lady so we played for quite a while until she wore herself out. Dogs are so funny; I can’t wait until I get my own dog.
I have a small collection of crystals and this bovine is the newest addition to the family. I just love how the light hits!
We had an awesome time with the B family last weekend. Beau and Nancy are some of the nicest people we know and their kids are absolutely adorable. Little Madeline was a bit shy in the beginning, but warmed up to us in no time once we started talking about Dora and Strawberry Shortcake. She’s so cute!
We also got to meet some of her friends. Everyone, this is “Doggy Boy”
They have a lovely backyard so we headed out for some California sunshine. These kids were so good even though the blistering heat pushed us to our limits. What great troopers!

I love how you can see the happiness in their eyes. As a bride-to-be myself, I’m so stoked when we meet couples that are just overflowing with joy and love. Everyone can take a chapter from their book and learn something valuable about marriage.
Speaking of love, Madeline whispered to me that she’s excited about being a big sister in a few months. This family of four five is definitely something special. Thanks for opening your home to us and we can’t wait to meet the little bundle of joy!
