Mandy and Johnny’s wedding day started off at the Pacific Palms Resort in Industry Hills and the ceremony was held at their church in Walnut, Vineyard of Harvest. Despite the early morning rain and tight schedule, we had a great time filming their wedding! Here are the highlights:

Mandy & Johnny, we haven’t forgotten about you guys! I’m in the process of wrapping up your photos so here are some teasers to hold you over for the week.

Rings

February 10, 2009

I’m running late, but here’s a sneak peek of Mandy and Johnny’s rings from their wedding day. Don’t you love details? I’m always in awe of how beautiful matching rings are. The shiny metal and sparkling rocks are gorgeous, but even more beautiful is the never ending love it represents. I love this shot on the shutters of the hotel room.

Stay tuned for more pictures later in the week!

Vieve + Kevin | Lovebugs

February 8, 2009

A while back I posted some photos from the afternoon session we had with Vieve & Kevin and today I’m thrilled to share our first motion film highlight with you. It took me a little while to find the right song for them, but I am more than happy with our selection here. Upbeat, fun and adorable – just like them!

Jessica & Mark | E-Session

February 3, 2009

A couple weeks ago we shot Jessica and Mark’s engagement session at the beach. We’re based in LA and they live in San Diego so we met up halfway at Dana Point for an afternoon of sun, sand and waves. Aren’t they adorable?

Gorgeous days at the beach in January like this is why we live in southern California. Come on, 75 degrees, sunny and bright blue skies. What more can you ask for? A boat! That’s right. We were at the harbor and wanted to use one of the boats as a backdrop. I stood at the entrance starring at the “Do Not Trespass” sign and before I knew it, Jessica made her way down to ask the nice man if we could borrow his boat. How awesome is that!

We headed over to the county park and caught some yummy light.

Mark should have totally brought his surfboard – he would blend right in with these guys!

We found this weird, bright, blue thing on the beach. I wasn’t sure quite what to make of it, but it was funky so we made use of it. I love it when couples aren’t shy and willing to try just about anything. They were open to our suggestions and made our job a lot easier.

The sun was moving quickly so we snuck in a few last shots and called it a day.

And lastly, my favorite from the day!

Mark and Jessica are actually getting married back in North Carolina later this year. Thanks for coming out for the afternoon. We had a great time and hope you did too. Congrats again!
