A few weeks ago we met up for an afternoon of fun at UCLA with our own wedding photographer, the talented Serena Grace. I wasn’t quite sure how I’d feel being on the other side of the lens, but we had a blast roaming around north campus! It certainly brought back memories of my college days as a Bruin. Here’s a teaser pic Serena posted on her blog a little while back.

We didn’t hesitate when Serena suggested we lie down at the bottom of the stairway because as photographers, we’ve asked our own clients to do the same. What you don’t see is the icky gutter next to my head. Nonetheless, it was all worth it. I absolutely love the composition of this shot.

Now we know how all our clients feel when they’re patiently awaiting for their pictures because we just can’t wait to see the rest of the photos. We have a couple more engagement sessions to blog in the next week or so, but posting will be light after that until mid-June when we return from our honeymoon. With just a few weeks until our big day, we’re definitely starting to feel the excitement!
