HIDE ‘N SEEK

June 24, 2010

it was a rather hot day at the park and we didn’t have much time to do this, but we had a ton of fun with these little guys. we wanted to keep it genuine and not ask the kids to do anything out of the ordinary so i wasn’t sure what we’d come out with – if anything at all. it was father’s day weekend and we thought it would be very fitting to tell the story of a child’s pureness, joy and innocence through cinema.

since they were playing hide ‘n seek, we thought it would make for a neat entry for a short film challenge our friends at stillmotion are hosting. you can check out their post and other top entries on their education blog. i would love to hear your thoughts on this piece.

BABY | LITTLE BRANDON

September 2, 2009

Recently we had the opportunity to meet little Brandon. His mommy was one of our brides several years ago and it’s so rewarding to be able to share another big life event with her. Congratulations to the L family – isn’t Brandon just so precious?

I confess, I’m completely in love with baby feet. Chunky legs and chubby little toes are sooo adorable!

A mother’s touch is just that, a mother’s touch. Gentle, warm, loving, supportive and comforting. I’m amazed at how quickly babies stop crying once they’re in mommy’s arms. It’s like magic.

The heat was pretty uncomfortable that day and after an hour or so this little guy didn’t want any part of it anymore. He was ready to head indoors and take a nap!

Don’t grow up too quickly!
