i promised we’d keep you posted from our travels so here are three frames from our short time in ft. bragg last weekend. the first two were taken from an iphone so please forgive the image quality — on the left is our view from the rental car as we made our way up highway 128 at 3am. it was very dark, but you can still see the massiveness of the redwoods around every turn. and on the right is our view the next morning as we headed out to the wedding. this small town by mendocino is where w+j traveled to on their first trip together as a couple so it was very fitting that they chose this location to share with their closest friends and family. the northern california coast is amazingly beautiful and it makes want to move there.

the next frame is my favorite. it was taken from the back of the car on our way out of fort bragg and i think it speaks so well to the area and my experience from it. between the pacific coast highway and the 101 fwy is a 40 mile stretch that is pure insanity — curvy, windy, redwood covered mountain roads that would make for a great bmw commercial. what that translates to is gorgeous light coming through the trees and getting very car sick so this one frame really speaks to not only what i saw, but also what i felt that morning.
